At the heart of Hall 7.3 at Rétromobile, among the prestigious car dealers attracting collectors and enthusiasts from around the world, we designed and created a stand with a strong identity for the New York-based firm James Chase Collection Design. More than a simple exhibition space, this project was conceived as a fully immersive experience, already reflecting the spirit of Rétromobile New York 2026.

Spread over 154 m², the stand stands out with a bold approach: moving away from traditional auto show conventions to offer a more intimate, warm, and truly high-end environment. The space takes the form of a private New York-style lounge, inviting visitors to feel welcomed rather than merely observing.

The interior architecture was designed as a living space. The volumes naturally structure circulation while creating distinct areas that encourage conversation and contemplation. The choice of materials—wood, textiles, and refined finishes—along with carefully selected furniture, contributes to a sophisticated, cozy atmosphere. Every detail evokes Manhattan’s urban elegance while highlighting the showcased vehicles.

In this setting, automobiles are transformed into true works of art. The scenography was designed to showcase each vehicle, playing with perspectives, lighting, and sightlines. Rather than displaying numerous models, the approach prioritizes emphasizing each car, giving it the space and attention it deserves. Visitors are invited to engage with these exceptional vehicles in a more sensitive, almost museum-like way.

This staging is complemented by a thoughtful approach to the visitor experience. The flow of movement, clarity of the space, and quality of interactions were central to the design. The goal: create an environment that fosters exchanges between enthusiasts, buyers, and experts while reinforcing the premium positioning of James Chase Collection Design.

Our support was part of a comprehensive, tailor-made process. From architectural design to visual creation, from visibility strategy to fabrication and on-site installation, every step was carried out in close collaboration with the client. This integrated approach ensured project coherence and a high-quality final result.

Beyond its aesthetic dimension, this stand represents an evolution in how classic cars are presented. It is no longer just about displaying vehicles, but about telling a story, creating emotion, and delivering an experience. This vision—at the intersection of design, art, and luxury—previews what Rétromobile New York 2026 will offer: an event where the boundaries between exhibition, gallery, and living space blur.

By placing people, emotion, and staging at the center of the project, we are defining a new way of approaching auto shows: one that is more qualitative, more immersive, and aligned with the expectations of a discerning audience.

This stand thus becomes much more than an exhibition space: it is a statement of intent, a manifesto of elegance, and an invitation to rediscover classic cars from a completely new perspective.
